Green Valley Massage Clinic was founded in 2006.  November 2016 we celebrated 10 years of service in our community.

Under new ownership we have added several new therapists and a diverse selection of options for your needs. We are available 5 days per week and offer 4 highly skilled practitioners.  
We provide a variety of self care tools and techniques.

BRENDA MACE - Brenda was trained at Baltimore School of Massage and Baltimore Community College in Maryland. She graduated summa cum laude with an Associate Degree in Massage Therapy. She has been a  member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 2004. Shortly after graduating, she and her family moved to Sahuarita where she began her massage practice in 2005. She has been a practitioner with Green Valley Massage Clinic since 2010. In January 2016 she and her husband became owners of Green Valley Massage Clinic. Her training is in Bonnie Prudden Myo Therapy (Trigger Point), Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Deep Tissue (Sports and medical related), Hot and Cold Stone, Neuro-Muscular Therapy (reprogramming unwanted muscle memory), and Swedish. Her goal is to help clients navigate the physical,
mental, and emotional body through breathing and massage to live pain free.

DEBORAH HODGES - Deborah graduated with a degree in massage therapy from East West College of Healing Arts Portland, OR in 2003. She also holds a bachelor of science in Environmental Science, water resource management.  In 2006 Deborah began her ongoing study specializing in Traditional Thai Medical Theory for body workers.  Deborah's massage work experience in a pain management clinic, sports spa and cooperative wellness center alongside her integration of Thai medical theory applied to massage provide a knowledgeable clinical yet personal holistic approach to every session.  Specializing in deep integrative massage, Thai bodywork, joint range of motion, abdominal massage, neuro muscular release points, Thai hot herbal compress, fire cupping and body scraping (gua sha). Massage may be gentle and nurturing or intense with varying depth depending on your needs from light circulation strokes to deep tension release kneading out the knots.  Her goal is to encourage vitality through movement, massage, and education.

DIANN SHIVELY - Diann has over 36 years of experience in the field of body work and massage.  She graduated from Central Ohio School of Massage in 1981, and Lima Technical College in 1994 with an Associates degree in Physical Therapy.  She lived and practiced massage in Green Valley for twelve years.  In the Spring of 2016, with her husband George and cat Tabby, Diann moved to Oregon where she acquired her National Certification for body workers (NCBTMB).  One and a half years later she has returned to us.  Her experience of 36 years has culminated into a very diverse set of expert skills.  Diann is certified with Dr. David Berceli in Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercise (TRE). She will facilitate and teach you these simple techniques to reduce stress and tension in the body so they may be done at home.  Through the years her continued studies in the field of Myofascial Release Therapy with John Barnes, PT, Reflexology, and Cranio Sacral Therapy have given her a highly knowledgeable perspective of the musculoskeletal system to facilitate the body's healing process. VERONICA YSLAS - Veronica attended Pima Medical Institute in 2003.  She is certified as a Physical Therapy Technician. She completed 720 hours of internship at Wallace Physical Therapy and worked at Nova Care Rehabilitation Center. In 2005, she worked as a PT Tech at La Posada Outpatient Therapy in Green Valley. In 2010, to become a massage therapist, she attended Carrington College, graduating in 2011 after completing 760 hours of school internship.  She specializes in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Release, Sports Massage, Myofacial Release, Lumbar Deep Tissue Release, Neck treatment and Kinesio Taping.  In her sessions, Veronica incorporates physical therapy stretches to increase mobility.
